- Using your spray bottle, spray the mixture 2-3 times and mix, slowly adding more witch hazel until the mixture holds it shaped when pressed together.
- Press into silicone molds (like this sun burst mold), making sure to compact them tightly.
- Allow to dry in silicon molds for 12 hours. Once 12 hours is up, remove from molds, and allow to dry an additional 24 hours for a nice hard bath bomb.
Make a big batch and package them in cellophone gift bags and you have the perfect inexpensive gift!
Essential Oil Combinations for Bath Bombs
Change up the scents with different essential oils too. I use the Plant Therapy essential oils since they are a great therapeutic quality but also super affordable (non-therapeutic grade essential oils can also cause skin irritation).
My favorite essential oil combinations for bath bombs include sensual (blend) ylang ylang (blend), lavender, tranquil (blend), relax (blend), jasmine, rose, or peppermint. I will typically use whatever oils we have in our “oils” medicine cabinet when I'm making a batch!
