Hold a Christmas Funds Garage Sale

Garage sales are a great way to earn a little extra spending money. When I have done a garage sale, I am always able to earn a few hundred dollars. That is a considerable chunk of our holiday spending budget. My friend, Emily, wrote a great post with tips to holding a successful garage sale. I especially like #4 “Take what they'll give.”

I'll admit it. I'm a garage sale holdin' slacky. If I were to show you a picture of our basement, you would be like “Girl, get a sharpie and start pricing this stuff!” But, I haven't. We have taken more stuff to Goodwill recently just to get rid of it. I'd rather someone at least get use out of it. I'll be planning one for next summer for sure!
