Easy Way to Teach Kids about Money
I am always trying to find “secret” ways to get my little 4 year old to be constantly learning. She has really been into how much things cost lately and has even saved to buy a vet center for herself. This is an easy way to teach about money while in the car without having to say a word.
Time to Learn About Money Supplies
:: Computer Print Out of Coin Names
:: Quarter, Dime, Nickel, Penny (1 of each)
:: Hot Glue Gun
:: Safety Pins
DIY Steps
{Step 1} Type each denomination for the change and print out from your computer.
{Step 2} Glue the change to the paper with a glue gun next to each denomination. If you do not have a glue gun, you can attach with scotch tape.
{Step 3} Attach the paper to the back of the headrest. You can secure with safety pins if you have cloth seats. However, attach the sheet through the cargo net if you have leather seats.
Project Cost
This project will basically cost you only $.41 which is the total amount of the coins. This is a fun way for the kids to learn their coins. You can also type each amount so they can learn the denomination as well.
