Go in on Deals with Family

The following Everyday Savings Tip comes from, Beth:

During a CVS ExtraBucks promotion that is “Purchase $30 of participating items and receive $10 in ExtraBucks,” my mom and I would both purchase something to qualify for the ECB. She purchased $10 of pop, and I then purchased $20 of toilet paper. This was a great deal for me because my mom wasn't interested in spending anything else to get the deal.

If you have family that lives close to you that is a good way to get in on great deals without spending as much making the deal for you even better. Of course you have to use the same CVS card to make the deal work. I suggest one person make all of the purchases. In my scenario, my mom would spend the $30 and I would reimburse her the $20 (that way you aren't using the CVS card in an in appropriate way).
