Homemade Tile and Grout Cleaner
Most of us have some tile and grout that could use a freshening up be it floor tile, back splash, or in the shower. Dirt, grime, and mildew make their way into your house and buildup over time. Mix up a bottle of this quick and easy to make cleaner that will brighten your tile and grout in no time at all.

Tile and Grout Cleaner Supplies

  • ¼ cup, Ammonia
  • ¼ cup, Baking Soda
  • 2 Tbsp, White Vinegar
  • 3 cups, Water

Tile and Grout Cleaner Use

  1. Spray tile and grout to saturate, allow it to sit for 20-30 minutes.
  2. Scrub with an old toothbrush or hand scrub brush.
  3. If the stains are really stubborn spray then sprinkle with additional baking soda, scrub into a paste.
  4. Let sit and scrub away with toothbrush or scrub brush.
  5. Rinse thoroughly.

Caution: Do NOT mix this spray with bleach! Ammonia and bleach combine to create toxic vapors and should never be mixed together.

The ingredients are around $0.50, which is way cheaper than $5 a bottle at the store!
