Free Heat AND Free Air Conditioning

Here is one of my favorite things I like to do to regulate the “free heat”. On cooler days when the sun is shinning I will open the blinds and let that FREE heat come in and warm up the house.

As the seasons change into summer, I will once again follow the sunshine as it makes it way around the house and CLOSE the blinds, because after all it's a really “cool” thing to make your house cooler than outside without turning on the a/c. It's so refreshing to come in after being at the pool or working in the yard to a cool house and it didn't cost a penny.
