This sugar cookie fruit pizza recipe is super easy to make, and dare I say, the BEST fruit pizza recipe out there! I first had these mini fruit pizzas at a MOPS meeting and haven't forgotten about them. Since they have fruit, can they totally be considered a healthy fruit pizza! :)

I've made these several times myself in a rectangle pan, cutting the cookie dough into squares, and they turned out just as delish! I will say that the individual sugar cookie fruit pizza make these perfect for a get together so everyone can grab their own personal snack!

And, yes, I am using Pillsbury sugar cookie dough for this recipe to make it easy (because we can all use a break). If you want to make a homemade fruit pizza from scratch, check out this sugar cookie recipe. You won't be disappointed!

Sugar Cookie Fruit Pizza Ingredients

  • 1 package, Sugar Cookie Dough
  • 1/2 cup, Butter (softened)
  • 8 oz, Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 4 cup, Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tbsp, Milk
  • 1 lb, Fruit (assortment of your favorite kinds)

Sugar Cookie Fruit Pizza Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Roll out cookie dough and cut out circles with cookie cutter or drinking glass.
  3. Place on parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  5. Place the cookies on a cooling rack.
  6. For the fruit pizza glaze, beat butter and cream cheese in large bowl until light and fluffy.
  7. Add in powdered sugar and milk and beat on high until smooth.
  8. Ice cookies with icing and top with fruit.
  9. Serve immediately.

These will store in the fridge for a day at the most. If they are stored too long past that, the icing and fruit will cause the cookie to be too soggy. They would never last that long in our home! But, if you need to prepare in advance for a potluck or banquet, at least you can prepare them the night before and they will taste fine.
