Save Money on Toys

The following Best Savings Tip comes from reader, Sarah:

I am a big fan of thrift stores, especially Once Upon a Child. When we go shopping for my daughter's birthday or Christmas, we hit up Once Upon a Child first. Many of their toys are in great condition.

We will visit Toys R Us and find some of the exact same items that we had just spent $5-$10 on for $50!  Doing this saves us at least $200 a year. My daughter is still young enough that she doesn't know the difference between new and used.
