Lots of Ways to Save
The following Everyday Savings Tip comes from, Cheryl:
My first rule is if I am shopping for clothes, shoes, etc, I do not buy anything unless I absolutely love it. A lot of people buy things and then get them home and decide they do not like them. If you wait until you find something you really love, you will avoid wasting time and money.
I search for coupons, and only buy what I need or know that I will use. When I do make a purchase I don't use my coin change, I always use bills to pay. When I get home I empty all my change in a big pickle jar.
It doesn't take me very long to save over $200. I also round up when I balance my checkbook, that way I always have a little to fall back on in case of emergencies.
These are such fabulous tips!! My mom rounds up her checkbook balance too. It was a standing joke that no one would ever be able to figure out her balance because of her doing this. hehe
What ways do you save more money?
