Freeze Blueberries and Save
We love fresh produce. We don't always eat all of it before it turns bad. Not wanting things to go to waste, I just put it in the freezer!
I had several containers of blueberries in the fridge that were about to get the fuzzies all over them this week. I washed them up and placed them flat on a cookie sheet with freezer paper underneath. This allows them to freeze without clumping together. I then placed the cookie sheet in the freezer for about 2 hours. After they were frozen, I scooped them up into freezer-safe bags.
Now we have produce good for smoothies and muffins for the next two months. I won't have to pay full price which will help me save even more!
