Freeze Leftover Fresh Herbs
The following Best Savings Tip comes from reader, Carrie:
Buying fresh herbs can be expensive, but sometimes the flavor in your recipes is worth it. However, you always seem to need to purchase more than what's needed in a recipe.
Chop up or rip the leftover fresh herbs into smaller pieces and put them into ice cube trays in the amounts you might use. Add water to cover the herbs. Freeze and store in labeled ziploc bags. Then add them to your recipes as needed. The small amount of water easily cooks or evaporates off without impacting your recipe.

I love this! I grew an herb garden this year, and now I can enjoy my herbs all winter.
