- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 cups freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste

- Melt butter in a heavy bottomed skillet
- Add garlic and cook for 30-60 seconds or until fragrant
- Whisk in heavy cream and bring to bubble, cook for 3-4 minutes
- Slowly whisk in parmesan cheese in small increments about ¼ to ⅓ cup at a time, melting each addition completely
