  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter 
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups freshly shredded Parmesan cheese 
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste 
  • Pepper to taste

How To Make Alfredo Sauce

  1. Melt butter in a heavy bottomed skillet 
  2. Add garlic and cook for 30-60 seconds or until fragrant 
  3. Whisk in heavy cream and bring to bubble, cook for 3-4 minutes 
  4. Slowly whisk in parmesan cheese in small increments about ¼ to ⅓ cup at a time, melting each addition completely 
  5. Season with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper
  6. Serve with fettuccine or spaghetti noodles  
  7. Store leftovers in refrigerator
