25 Ways to Tie a Scarf

I'm not a fashionista by any means. I think I'm becoming more “girly” in my older age. With that can come some expense but it doesn't have to. I try to get most of my buys on sale and/or using a coupon as well.

However, there are a few items that are priced a wee bit high but are worth every. single. penny! I do live by the motto to “save on what you need so you can spend on what you want.” These more expensive pieces are definitely wants but are of amazing quality so are worth it. Joe's Jeans anyone??!! – they will change your life AND they have an outlet!

When it comes to accessorizing, it is an area things that confuses a lot of people – or at least it did (and still does) for me. Confusion can lead to overspending or buying things you don't end up using which I have also done.

I love how scarves can be accessorized in so many ways and there really isn't a way you can mess it up. My hubby bought me two very nice scarves for my birthday last year. One specifically I was challenged to find a way to tie (it's wider and shorter). I have only worn it once because I wasn't sure what tie would look right (and I even checked Pinterest!).

My friend, Melissa, shared this video on Facebook and I love it! The video is from Wendy at Wendy's Look Book. I immediately wrote down many scarf ties I wanted to try! The video is awesome (and has majorly cool editing) and teaches you 25 different ways to tie a scarf in just over 4 minutes! Then she has additional tutorials to show you how to do each tie in more detail. And after poking around on her site for a while, I can confidently say that it is full of fashion inspiration!

I'm now going to try the Waterfall tie shown in the above video for the scarf that had me stumped. I'll share a pic with you on the Savings Lifestyle Facebook page so you can see that I do follow these tips too! These different scarf ties will help me mix up the rut of the twist and knot tie I usually do. I'm sure you'll find a new one too!
