Save with Discover Card Rewards

The following Everyday Savings Tip comes from, Diana:

I use my Discover card everywhere that will accept it since I get at least 1% back on everything I buy. I have been able to use the reward money I earn to buy discounted gift cards, therefore increasing what I get back. For example, if I have accumulated $45 in reward money, I can trade that in for a $50 Gap gift card. Of course, I then combine that with a sale at the Gap!
