Nifty Napkin Banner Supplies
- Large Paper Lunch Napkins
- Craft Glue
- Ribbon
For our sample project, we found these napkins in the dollar section at our local Target store. The coloring is perfect for the fall or Thanksgiving season.
Nifty Napkin Banner Directions
- Begin by folding each napkin in half diagonally. This will give the napkins a pennant shape perfect for your banner. You can fold them going in either direction. In fact, it is cute to fold in a variety of directions so your napkins show different patterns as ours did.
- Next, cut a length of ribbon. This will be the base of your banner.
- Take each napkin and fold it over the ribbon so the ribbon rests along the crease. Add a dab of glue then to the inside of each napkin. Press flat and firmly so the napkin is sealed over the ribbon.
- Continue this process until you have 5-7 napkins on your ribbon. Be sure the napkins are dry before you attempt to display your banner.
As you can see, this is a very simple craft that makes a bold and colorful statement. You can make it as long or as short as you need to, and add any other embellishments you wish. So gather up your napkins, some ribbon, and try your hand at making this nifty napkin banner!
