Fall Decorating on a Dime
How timely is this article?! Today in our MOPS meeting, our speaker, Carol, shared so many fabulous entertaining and decorating ideas. While the focus wasn't necessarily about saving, everything she shared was done inexpensively and in such a beautiful way! I really hope she starts a blog because I wanted her to go to the store with me and just help me see what she sees. It's certainly a gift!
I have a few ideas for Harvest Decorating on a Dime on the Family Economics blog today. I love a beautifully decorated home, however, I don't want to spend a ton of time changing out decorations each season. There are a few things that you can get your kids involved with too, which brought back some childhood memories.
Check out the post over at Family Economics and leave your fall decorating ideas. I'd love to hear them and get some more to use yet this month!!
On a side note, I *picked* up the apples (picked, get it..HA) in the above picture for just $.40 at Michael's. They are beginning to clearance a lot of their Fall items so it was a major score since they have little beads on them and run around $4 each on regular price. Obviously, finding items on close-out after the season is a great time to ensure decorating in any season can be done on a dime too!
