Extend the Life of Your Clothes Dryer

Everyone knows that you should clean the lint filter of your clothes dryer regularly (preferably after every load). You can also extend the life of your dryer by thoroughly cleaning the filter periodically.

After removing the lint from the filter, take the filter to the sink and let the water run into the cuped side of the filter screen. If it holds water then it needs to be cleaned thoroughly with a toothbrush, small amount of detergent and water until it will not hold water.

Doing this will maximize the life of your dryer and extend the time when you will have to replace it. That will save you you a bundle in the long run.
