- 1 loaf thickly sliced crusty country style bread or Texas toast, recipe will make 11-12 pieces of bread
- 1 ½ cups eggnog, store bought or homemade
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla or rum extract

How To Make Eggnog French Toast
- Preheat electric griddle to 350 degrees F.
- In a medium bowl whisk together eggnog, eggs, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and extract.
- Pour mixture into a 13×9 baking dish for dipping toast.
- Lightly grease griddle with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
- Dip bread into mixture and allow to soak for 1-2 minutes, let drain slightly and place on hot griddle.
- Cook several minutes on each side until golden brown, making sure the center of the toast is cooked.
- Remove and serve immediately with toppings of your choice.
- Store leftovers in refrigerator.
