Make a Personal Ornament

Easy craft to make a personal ornament.

I always feel so bad throwing out the invites I get for Weddings. I know they must have cost a small fortune.  Instead of tossing, make the couple an ornament they will cherish forever. You could also create an ornament with the program from a Christmas play, child's artwork, the invitation for a dedication or christening, or even a program from a loved one's memorial.

There are so many ways to take this to always have a special memory present during Christmas! I even display some of our ornaments on this jewelry holder displayed on our hutch all year round.

Personal Ornament Supplies

  • Program, Invitation or Child's Artwork
  • Clear Glass Christmas Bulb
  • Ribbon

Personal Ornament Instructions

  1. Cut up the program or invitation into small sections.
  2. Roll each up as tightly as you can and put in the ornament.
  3. Shake when done to relax each strip.
  4. Add the ribbon to make it easy to hang from a tree.
