The flicker of a candle adds the perfect ambiance on a fall evening. With just a few simple supplies, you can create your own fall findings votive holder to hold that warm flicker and display it in a way that is festive and frugal. Fall Findings Votive Holder Supplies

Burlap
Scissors
Hot Glue

Acorns
Fresh leaves
Black spray paint

We were able to find all of the above supplies at our local craft store and in our own backyard. You can add any other fall findings that appeal to you such as twigs, raffia, bittersweet, etc. Find items that reflect you and your likes.

Fall Findings Votive Holder Directions

Cut a strip of burlap to fit around the jar. Apply a dab of glue to the ends of the strip and wrap it around the jar. Press the glued ends to the glass firmly.
While your burlap is drying, apply a coat of black spray paint to one side of your leaves. Set aside to dry.
Once the leaves are dry, add a drop of glue to the back and press them firmly (black side showing) to the burlap. You will notice how nice the contrasting colors are.
Add the final embellishments of acorn tops as we did. Just use your hot glue to adhere one at a time until your desired look is achieved.

As mentioned, you can tuck any other pieces of nature into this mix you wish. Or, you can always spray paint the leaves another color if you want. The choice is yours and you are only limited by your creativity.
