Teriyaki Marinade Recipe
Several people commented on the Freezing Meats in Marinade vlog requesting this recipe. I wanted to share it today so you can try it this weekend when you have more time! It's so simple to make. I bet it will take you longer pulling all of your ingredients out of the pantry than it does measuring and mixing together!
Teriyaki Marinade
Adapted from All Recipes
:: 1 cup, Soy Sauce
:: 1 cup, Water
:: 3/4 cup, Sugar
:: 1/4 cup, Worcestershire Sauce
:: 3 tbsp, Vinegar
:: 3 tbsp, Honey
:: 1/3 cup, Onion Flakes (dried)
:: 2 tsp, Garlic Powder (or Minced Garlic)
:: 2, Green Onions
I use kitchen scissors to cut green onions – does anyone else do that?
Mix together all of the ingredients in a large bowl. I then poured the marinade into a measuring bowl so I could easily pour into the Ziploc bags with the meat! This will make around 4 cups of marinade.
The thing I love about this marinade is that most of the ingredients are in the pantry. And, if you're out of one of them you could easily substitute or leave it out all together. I still use store bought brands if I can get them super cheap or free. However, making my own allows me to get a flavor more of what our family enjoys and reduce the sodium intake too (that's gotta help hubby's blood pressure some!).
Enjoy!

How many pounds of meat can u marinate with this recipe??? What cuts of meat do u prefer???
Allison, I use this on chicken and flat iron steak. It is good for about 5-6 pounds I’m guessing. When I made the recipe it covered at least 10 chicken breasts.
