Shower Melts DIY
Are you looking for a homemade gift idea? You want to check out this shower melts recipe! We love the long handle measuring spoons to help us measure, scoop and stir this recipe too.
As you can see, this DIY calls for supplies you most likely already have in your pantry! See…
That's what makes this recipe so awesome! It's super easy and frugal to make at home.
While the recipe suggests using a mini ice cube tray, you can use whatever mold you have on hand. I'm going to make this again very soon and use a different mold for some variety. The different design will give some inexpensive flair to my bathroom apothecary jars (cheap design DIY).
My suggestion for this shower melts recipe is to take it easy with the water. If you don't add enough the melts will be crumbly and they will not set to be firm. If you add to much it will be too watery and they may melt just sitting on your bathroom sink.
So, add the water slowly and when you have a consistency that is a little more watery than a paste similar to what you would use for a bee sting. We are going to make our own version of this recipe and will share with you on the blog soon so stay tuned.
Check out the Shower Melts recipe now. And be sure to grab a set of our favorite long handle measuring spoons too while you're at it! They are on sale right now on Amazon so snag them before the price goes up!
This shower melts DIY is one that you will want to make over and over again! It's easy and fast to whip up and they truly do work awesome! Depending on your ailment (stress, congestion, relaxation, etc), you can make any concoction to help with whatever ails you!
So for the shower melt you are adding the same amount of cornstarch as the bath melts and then just adding less water than that recipe to make this one? Sorry, it’s a little confusing!
So these can be stored @ room temperature? It says to freeze 1 hour to set. Before I put it in the fridge I set some on top of each other and they were like quicksand, so should they be wrapped individually in wax paper before storing?
