Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 cans (10.5 oz each) cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup milk 
  • 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, cut into cubes

Instructions

  1. Spray the insert of a slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray
  2. Place chicken breasts in a single layer on the bottom
  3. Season with seasonings, salt and pepper 
  4. Whisk together the soup and milk, pour over chicken
  5. Cut the cream cheese into cubes and place evenly in slow cooker 
  6. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3 hours, or until internal temperature of chicken reaches 165 degrees F  
  7. Remove chicken from slow cooker onto a cutting board and shred with two forks 
  8. Return chicken to slow cooker and mix to combine well 
  9. Serve with rice, noodles or mashed potatoes 
  10. Store leftovers in refrigerator
