Save Items for Kid’s Projects

The following Everyday Savings Tip comes from, Jaime:

Save your paper towel and toilet paper rolls for your kid's projects at school or at home. I have sent some in with my kids to their teachers and they are always most appreciative. Another way to repurpose something you'd just be throwing out anyway!

  1. Those toilet paper rolls are are also great for taming all the wrapping paper you’ll be using this season. Simply cut the tube lengthwise and then slip the tube over an opened roll of wrapping paper to secure the end of the paper and keep everything tidy. You can use two or more on longer rolls of wrapping paper.

    This works equally as well using paper towel rolls as well.
