Fruity French Toast Crumble Ingredients

  • 1/2 loaf, Italian Bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/3 cup, Milk
  • 3 ½ Tbsp, Sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp, Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tbsp, Flour
  • 2 Tbsp, Whole Oats
  • 1/3 cup, Brown Sugar
  • ½ tsp, Cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp, Butter
  • 1 cup, Strawberries (chopped)
  • 1 cup, Blueberries (whole)
  • 1 cup, Powdered Sugar

Fruity French Toast Crumble Directions

  1. First, cut up your bread into 1 inch cubes and place in a sprayed, 8×8 glass baking dish.
  2. Mix your 4 together eggs, as well as the sugar, milk, and vanilla.
  3. Pour the mixture over the bread cubes.
  4. Place the glass pan in your refrigerator for one hour.
  5. In the meantime, mix your flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter well. The mixture will become crumbly which is just how you want it! Do not mix it until smooth.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  7. Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the bread cube mix.
  8. Before baking, sprinkle the crumble with a little more brown sugar and cinnamon. So yummy!
  9. Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes.

Just wait until you catch of whiff of this baking! Your kitchen will smell just divine. Remove once done and allow a few minutes to cool down. You can then sprinkle the bake with a dusting of powdered sugar. Wait until you plate your French toast to add the fruit. Add another dusting of powdered sugar at this time if you wish as well.
