As we finish the second full week of school, I am going to take a second and pat myself on the back. For what you ask? For packing our boys' lunch every.single.day!
BOOM SHAKKA LAKKA!
Oh yeah, I feel proud of this for several reasons. I'm saving money from NOT purchasing the school lunches with is an obvious one. Secondly, I'm controlling what they are eating each day. Plus, in a crazy small way, I can send them little reminders to school by using the cute lunchbox notes download as you see above. They get a little love from momma in the middle of the day :)
Do you need lunchbox inspiration?
This school year make a snack pact with your kids to pack fun, good for them lunches that taste great! I'm co-hosting a Twitter party for Snack Pack with my friend, Briana of Bargain Briana where we will be discussing ways to make packing lunches easier this year. I have several things I've started to do over the past month that have helped me a TON and I can't wait to share with you!
During the Twitter party, we will have some great prizes to help make packing those lunches even easier. Here are the details of the party:
- Thursday September 5, 2013
- 1 pm EST
- Follow @SavingLifestyle & @BargainBriana
- Hashtag: #SnackPak
- Prizes: (2) $200 Walmart gift cards .
Don't forget to print the Snack Pack pudding coupon while it's still available!
New to Twitter Parties?
They are a lot of fun! The easiest way to follow along a Twitter Party is to use TweetDeck.com. It’s free to use and allows you to follow one hashtag easily. Again, we will use the #SnackPak hashtag for the party on Thursday. I hope to see you there!
