Be a Part of the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson {June 14}

Get ready to take part in the World's Largest Swimming Lesson on June 14, 2012 at 11am! You can be a world record holder when you participate in the World's Largest Swimming lesson at Dayton Area aquatic centers.  Here is a list of participating locations:

Be sure to check with the location you will be attending for specific details. Plan on getting there early for registration, so you will be counted.  Kids ages 3 and under must have a parent in the pool with them.

I am planning on taking my kids to the Countryside YMCA in Lebanon.  Registration begins at 9:30am and ends at 10:30am. At 10:30am, they will begin getting everyone in place for the largest swimming lesson. At 11am, the lesson will begin!

Everyone in the pool will be counted toward the World Record! Learning to swim is such an important life skill for anyone and especially for kids!  My heart cringes every time I hear a child has drowned on the news. There was one just a few weeks ago in our area.

As an added bonus for those who attend the Countryside YMCA, you can stay and enjoy the pool the rest of the day!

What a great opportunity to be a part of the Guinness Book of World Records!  I know my boys are so excited since they love the books and hope they can be in it! So, who's in?
