Toys R Us: Santa is coming! 12pm-3pm

Toys R Us is having Santa come to visit their stores this weekend. This event is Free and recommended for children 3 and up. I would recommend coming early because supplies are limited for the giveaways. Some of the activities planned for this event include:

  • Listen to the Grinch Who Stole Christmas Story
  • Decorate you Gingerbread Cookie
  • Take pictures with Santa or Geoffrey
  • Giveaways

Lowe's Build and Grow: Caboose 10am-12pm

If your kiddos love trains, then they will not want to miss this Free event.  This will be part one of three for this month to build a train.  This weekend they will build the caboose and next week the passenger car is planned.  You will want to register your kids at Lowes to ensure they will have a kit for them.

Each child will receive:

  • apron
  • goggles
  • project themed patch
  • certificate of merit for completed project

My kids love to build things and are very proud of their creations!

Home Depot: Picture Frame 9am-12pm

Bring your kids out to Home Depot to make a picture frame.  This is a Free event and you will want to get there a little early to make sure you get a kit.  Each child will receive an orange apron and a pin for completing the project.

Michaels The Knack: 10am-12pm

Michael's has two Free projects that the kids can do this Saturday.  You will want to get there early to ensure that your kiddo gets a kit.

10am-11am Finger Knit Scarf
11am-12pm Reindeer Ornament

Dayton Mall: Paintbrush Pottery Ornament Painting 12pm-4pm

This weekend Paintbrush Pottery will have a Free Event inside the Dayton Mall. It will be located on the lower level outside of JC Penney near Guest Services. The kids can come and paint a “Very Big Heart” ornament and take it home for a great gift for their Teacher.

My kids have done this in the past and have LOVED it.  They love to paint ornaments and give them to relatives or display on our Christmas tree.  This could be something fun for the kids to do while taking a break from Christmas shopping!

Don't forget to check out the retail deals for more savings  while you are at the mall!
