Dayton Free Events | December 17-18

Here are free events that you can do this weekend!  Lots to do with the week before Christmas.

Saturday, December 17

Lowes Build & Grow: Train Engine @10am
This weekend you can build the train engine for the trains that have been on the workshops the previous weeks. This is a free event but you must register to ensure your spot.

Each participant will receive the kit, goggles, apron, project themed patch and certificate of merit upon completion.

PNC 2nd Street Market-Santa Visits the Market @11am-1pm

Bring your cameras and get that special photo with Santa while shopping at the 2nd St. Market.  All the kids will be able to tell Santa what is on their list and will get a little treat!

Michael's-Duck Tape Luggage Tag, 10am-12pm

Michael's-Poinsettia Card, 12pm-2pm

Germantown MetroPark-Winter in the Woods @1pm-3pm

Bring the family out for a family adventure at Germantown MetroPark.  It is an interactive Scavenger Hunt and you will win a prize if you are able to complete the required number of tasks.  This is a free event and registration is not required.  They will be meeting at the Nature Center

The Greene-Holiday Activities

There is so much festivity in the air and lots to do at the Greene for Christmas!  You will be able to see live reindeer, visit Santa and give him your list, Storytime with Mrs. Claus and even a live Nativity scene.

I love just walking around seeing the beautiful Christmas tree in the center of Town Square.  It is just a beautiful place this time of year!
