KiteFest: Voice of American Park, 4/9 & 4/10 12-5 pm

The Airwaves KiteFest at Voice of America Park is an annual must do event for my family.  The brightly colored kites of all shapes and sizes are so much fun to watch.  Parking for KiteFest is all off-site with shuttle buses to take you to the event.  Make $2 donation for parking to support the Voice of America Museum.  Events for kids will include:

  • Kite Building Workshop
  • Parachute Run
  • Animals from the Cincinnati Zoo
  • Play Areas

Annual Daffodil Show: Cincinnati Zoo, 4/9 & 4/10

Enjoy hundreds of daffodils with various varieties on display at the Zoo.  Zoo admission is required.

Modular Toy Train Show: Entertrainment Junction, 4/9 & 4/10

The Modular Toy Train Show will have train displays at Entertrainment Junction this weekend.  The event is Free for all from 10am – 6pm on Saturday and 12 5pm on Sunday.  This is a special event with temporary displays.  Admission charges still apply for the everyday train displays and the fun house.  Find out how to take advantage of the Spring Celebration for Buy 1, Get 1 1/2 off admission.

Lowe's Build & Grow Clinic: Sports Pinball Game, 4/9 10 am

This looks like a fun build for kids!  Build a Sports Pinball Game at this week's Lowe's Build & Grow Clinic.  Project materials plus an apron, goggles and a project themed patch are Free for all participants.

EcoFest & Local Fair: Whole Foods, 4/9 1-4 pm

Celebrate the planet with Whole Foods.  Learn about organic gardening from 1-2 pm, enjoy an Earth Day craft for the kids with the Cincinnati Horticultural Society, sample local foods and more!
