Cincinnati Weekend Events: Gold Star Chili Cookoff, Taft Museum Funday + More!

Taft Museum Third Sunday Funday: January 15 from 1pm – 4pm

This month's Funday is about celebrating dreams.  In honor of Martin Luther Kings Jr Day, make a “Live a Dream” banner, add your face to the community mural and more.

At 2 p.m. watch theThe Satchel Paige Story, performed by the ArtReach Touring Theatre.  It is the true story of a baseball legend who helped pave the way for men of color in Major League Baseball.

Gold Star Chili Cookoff at Findlay Market: January 15 at 2pm

Stop Findlay Market on Sunday to taste chili, listen to music by Tempted Souls and find out who will be the next Chili Meister.

Lowe's Build & Grow: Castle, January 14 10am

Kids can build their own Castle at the Lowe's Build & Grow Clinic this Saturday. All project materials plus an apron, goggles, a project themed patch and a certificate of merit will be Free for each participant. Register online to reserve your spot!

Fountain Square Radio Skate & Family Skate: January 13 from 6pm – 10pm & January 15 from 12pm – 6pm

Ice Skate on Fountain Square tonight with music from Warm 98. Admission is just $.98 per person from 6pm – 10pm.  Sunday, kids receive Free admission to skate from 12pm – 6pm.  Skate rental is $3/pair.
