Best Buy Online Price Matching for the Holidays
Best Buy has announced that they will offer price matching for online retailers! While this is something the company has announced as completely new, our local Best Buy has done this for me on a few occasions according to their Best Buy price match guarantee terms.
Here are a few key points according a Washington Post article:
- Available until November 17, and then again between November 24 – December 24. They are basically skipping Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping dates.
- Applies to appliances and electronics.
- Matching will be offered on “if asked” basis. Meaning, customers need to request the price matching (similar to the current policy in place).
- Free shipping available on items out of stock in-store.
It's not entirely clear what online retailers they will match. As I mentioned before, my store matched a legitimate store so we'll see what they end up confirming. We will update you (and this post) when and if anything is confirmed directly from Best Buy.
