Applebee’s Three Cheese Chicken Penne Copycat Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing
  • 3 cups Penne pasta
  • 15 oz jar of  Alfredo Sauce
  • 10 cherry tomatoes (sliced in half)
  • 4 basil leaves (sliced into very thin strips or chiffonade)
  • 1 clove Garlic (chopped fine)
  • 6 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese

Instructions

  1.   Marinate chicken in Italian dressing for 30 minutes
  2.   Mix together tomatoes, oil, garlic and basil.  Set aside
  3.   Cook Penne as directed
  4.   Grill chicken (or brown in skillet until done).  Then cut in 1 inch pieces.
  5.   Drain pasta and stir in tomato/oil mixture
  6.   Pour Alfredo sauce over pasta and stir in cut up chicken
  7.   Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and serve.
