Ingredients
Scale
1 Apple (medium sized)
Craft Feathers
Assorted Pom Poms
Non Toxic Craft Glue
1 small piece, Orange and Yellow Construction Paper
1 pair, Googly Eyes
Instructions
Rinse your apple well so the embellishments will adhere well.
Choose 5-6 feathers and press them into the back of the apple. Or, you can use craft glue and glue them to the back. You can do this just by applying a generous dab of glue and pressing firmly into place.
Choose a larger brown or tan pompom to use as the turkey’s head. Apply a dab of glue and press it to the opposite side of the apple as you applied the feathers. Press it firmly into place and hold for a few minutes to make sure it adheres.
Beneath the brown pompon, add a smaller, red or pink pompon. This will be the turkey’s gobbler. Apply it as you did the head.
Add a drop of glue to both googly eyes and attach them to the head of your turkey.
Now your turkey needs a beak! Cut a small triangle out of a piece of yellow or orange construction paper. Glue it under the turkey’s eyes.
