A Mom’s Thoughts…

Geesh, today has been a crazy day! I haven't even really had a whole lot of time to think about anything else besides the next place I need to run off too. However, when I was working out early this morning and driving from place to place, some things came to me. It seems like my morning workouts are the time I think about things the most…I guess it's my way of keeping my mind off the pain (good pain..burn, baby burn!). Some things on my mind…

  • I need to figure out what to get my dear BFF for her “big” birthday next week. I mean, she has me as her friend, what else could she possibly want (hehe!). Seriously, the girl has everything, what do you get someone like that?
  • Should I go back to Target to get more FREE cheese before that coupon expires on Saturday, or just be thankful that I was able to get the amount that I have?
  • I need to catch up on my surveys – there are tons in my email inbox that are waiting for my opinion! And, need to Bzz again on the yummy YoMommy yogurt. Didn't I think about this last week too?
  • At my MOPS prayer meeting today, we discussed prayer (ironic). Do I really pray expecting the Lord to answer or just pray because, as a christian, it's just what I do? I mean, God has been so faithful to our family and our prayers, especially with the healing of Andon.
  • I need to log in my grocery receipts from this week's grocery trip and my other earnings to see how much I've saved and earned!! My numbers just keep growing!
  • Follow up with Ebates to see if my referrals were credited to my account. Sometimes they can be slow and need that extra “push” which I'll gladly give!
  • Get a head start on studying for my Chemistry final. I doubt that they'll talk about the chemistry in soap and how it's good for stain removal. If they do, at least I know I'll get that one right!

There are a few more, but rather than thinking more on those, I should probably just get up and do them!

Do you think VOA has any cheese left, or did you buy them all out? :-) Maybe I should head over to Bridgewater Falls?

I am going to run and get on this deal if I can. You said you can freeze cheese, right?

    I am pretty excited!

Hehe…well, there was one left and I only left that one because the coupon is off two!

Yeap, you can freeze the cheese if you can find it! I hear a lot of people game the Bridgewater Falls Target, so let me know what you find (that might be one of my future stops)!

Don’t bother. I stocked up on the cheese, got to the check out, handed them my coupons and they said they wouldn’t take them. First, I could only use 2 printed coupons.
2nd, the coupon was off a package ( not a cheese stick ), so it didn’t count.
Third, even if she would ring it in for me, the coupon would be over by 2 cents, and she said they can’t do overages on coupons…I would have to buy a 3rd cheese.
Ugh…what a waste of my time. Stick to VOA. I am going there from now on!

OK – that was a major bummer!

VOA is awesome with accepting my coupons (even all 20 of my cheese coupons-hehe). I just received my Pepsi coupons for the Pepsi rebate from December. There were 5 coupons for $2 off one Pepsi product. Target has the printable for $1 off a 12-pack of Pepsi too. Since you can stack them, and they were on sale for $3 this week, I left there with 5-12 packs of FREE Pepsi!! Hubby was very happy!
