Cutest Halloween Treat EVER!

The following post is from our new site contributor, Emily.

I have seen so many Halloween treat ideas, but nothing THIS easy! Nowadays I try my best to find a creative activity to do  with my 3 year old that she can actually do! With not much time on our hands this treat smacked me across the face and begged me to recreate.

Halloween Treat Ingredients

  • Mini Pretzels
  • Hershey Hugs
  • Candy Corn

Preparation Directions

{Step 1} Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

{Step 2} Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or foil.

{Step 3} Place pretzels on the cookie sheet, not touching.

{Step 4} Unwrap Hershey’s Kisses and place on top of pretzels and then place filled cookie sheet in oven.

{Step 5} Bake for 3-5 minutes but NO LONGER. You will know they are ready when the kisses start to get shiny.

{Step 6} Remove from oven and gently place candy corn on top of the kisses, pushing down ever so gently.

{Step 7} Cool and then transfer to serving platter or wrap up as gifts.

I placed mine in the fridge for a few minutes to speed up the cooling process and it worked perfectly! Enjoy and spread the Hugs!

What are some Halloween Treats you make for and with your kiddos?

  1. we take a mix of candy corn, chex cereal, pretzles, peanuts, and m&m’s and coat then in melted white chocolate. spread the mix on a cookie sheet to harden and cool in the fridge. Break apart into chunks and put into cellophane gift bags for teachers and bus drivers.

      1. we also customize it to what holiday we are making it for. You can change the color of m&m’s , add peppermint candies for christmas, robin malted balls for easter… its really versitle!
