Andrea is a familiar face associated with the blog, Mommy Snacks. That makes complete sense too since she WAS (and still is to some) the person who created the popular money-saving site!
After several years of publishing the site, Mommy Snacks was officially rebranded to Savings Lifestyle. It was a decision that was a long time coming.
Savings Lifestyle better reflects the mission and vision the site has held for years: Save on what you need. Spend on what you want. That is the same motto that facilitated a savings of $6,500 in a year’s time of couponing and helping Andrea to eliminate consumer debt.
And…well, read more about Andrea and see what else living a savings lifestyle has helped her family achieve!
Kathy is married and a mommy to three littles, Trey, Josiah and Karis. She graduated from Georgia College & State University and went on as staff with Campus Outreach, a college ministry until leaving that position in 2010.
One of the main reasons that her family started couponing was because of debt. Using coupons really helped them make major headway in getting rid of our debt. Once they discovered all we could save in using coupons, she felt the desire to share with others, helping them be successful in saving money for their own families.
Amber manages all store coupon matchups and miscellaneous coupon updates for the site. She is a married mother of three children: Noah, Chloe and Max. She has a BS in Psychology and worked in Social Services for 5 years before discovering blogging and finding a way to stay home with the kids!
Amber became focused on saving money when the couple were expecting their third (surprise!) child. After looking at the budget and honestly freaking out, she wasn’t sure how their family would make ends meet. Soon after she discovered coupons and now feeds her family for about $50 per week. Saving money has increased their quality of life and has also allowed the family to bless others in a way that we never would have been able to before.
Other than coupons, Amber loves Swagbucks! Saying it’s the best way to spend money on Amazon :-) Yard sales are also a lot of fun in the spring and summer.
Becky publishes the Cincinnati site and helps with the main site covering national deals. She is a married mother of three boys. Becky graduated from UC with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Before becoming a SAHM 7 years ago, she worked as a financial center manager for a bank.
Becky works to save money by couponing, menu planning, sale/clearance shopping and living by a cash only budget. Saving money is a way of contributing to her family’s income and getting to stay home with her boys.
As a full-time working (outside the home) mom, frugal wasn’t really in my vocabulary. I just didn’t think I had time for many of the things I do now. Grocery shopping was a just a chore. I’d walk through the store without a plan or budget and no coupons.
Savings blogs soon became everyday reading for Becky and couponing, sale shopping and stockpiling became a way of life. She tracks her shopping and savings to show her work is paying off!
Bridgett publishes Savings Lifestyle ~ Dayton. She is married with 2 boys, ages 9 and 6.
Bridgett has a BS in Business and Marketing and worked for Mead paper (now NewPage) in customer service for several years. She has been staying home with her boys now for about 9 years.
She is passionate about saving money because she likes being able to stay home with her boys. Bridgett saves where she can so the couple doesn’t depend on a second salary. Also, she doesn’t like having any debt!
Some different ways Bridgett also saves are by going to garage sales, thrift stores and consignment for clothing and household goods. She also helps a friend with her garden each year to save money on fruits and veggies in the summer and canning them for the Fall and Winter.
