Ways to Save at Disney (Video)

Our family went to Disney again in May. It was a short trip and I was attending the Disney Social Media Moms conference during the day. Paul and the boys had fun going to the parks and swimming. We enjoyed family time together in the evenings do even more fun stuff like having dinner after-hours at Animal Kingdom and absolutely no lines to ride several rides.

I've shared how to save on a Disney World vacation in the past. When I returned, Disney asked a few people if they would do a short video sharing different ways to save. I told them I was their gal :) While I can't promise the video is short (it's 10 minutes – ACK!!), I can promise it's entertaining! I may even do some singing in it…now I know you're dying to watch.

And I'm pretty sure Disney will hear the singing and quietly ask for volunteers somewhere else. That won't keep me away though! After all, I've slept in Cinderella's castle. I'm like family! :)

I'd love to hear your best Disney Savings Tips too after you watch!

  1. We “rent” Disney Vacation Club points from people who own them and use those to book rooms at DVC resorts. We save a TON of money that way and get to stay at great places! There are website forums where you can get it touch with people willing to rent their points. It’s a little stressful at first (for both parties I think) because there is a trust issue that they are going to book things and keep in contact with you and everything and then on their side they are trusting you not to skip on the room charges or anything like that. But if you find someone good to work with it’s amazing! We have rented points from two different people for a total of 10 trips throughout my family members (5 different families have booked trips through people we found and trust) and it’s worked out great!
