Have you ever felt like you just don't deserve a blessing? It's not even that someone is trying to do something for you, necessarily. It's a blessing straight from God, and you wonder why He has chosen you to receive it?

I feel that way right now.

The devil has been hard at work in our lives in so many ways over the past several months. It's totally obvious it's the evil serpent trying to slither into a crack with all of our relationships. He wants to beat us down spirtually. Unlucky for him, God built me with a strong will so he's not going to get through.

But the slither of his words do get in.

When I realize this is happening, I focus on the Word. I meditate on praise and worship songs. But above all, I praise God in THIS storm. There will be many, many more in our lives. It's a matter of how we choose to handle this, I know for sure.

It's how we choose to allow God to handle this. THAT is the only thing that I am truly sure of.

It's not about me, it's about Him.

Do you have any scripture recommendations for me to pour into when this hits me?

“For I know the plans I have for you “, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you hope and a future.”
I love this one Andrea. Whenever things are not going good I think of this. God has a plan for me to prosper!

Although you may not have meant to elevate your personal willpower, it did sound that way. Just remember,it is in our weakness He is made strong. If we are in fact able to overcome, it is only by the strength that he enables us with. When I am faced with trials (every day!), when I pray, I say “I can’t, but YOU can.” Your willpower will never be enough.

From Paul: When I am weak, I am strong.

Our weak times, our low times, are times when we can lean on Him. He makes us strong in these storms of life.

    Hang in, girl.

I tell my son who worries about getting into the college of his dreams and what his life will be like in NYC.
Your life is what you make of it You have choices.
God is going to whip lemons at you, You have the choice to make a sweet lemonade or a sour face and whine in which no one will like you and nothing good will ever come of it.
I believe that if you are a good person good things will come your way, we may not understand why GOD does some things.
Example my husband getting a serious illness when we were very young and I was like WHY? we are soul mates so many people do not even like their spouse and mine is my best friend!! Now I realize WHY, after 19 years of marriage we understand that we will never get a day back, so when we disagree about something one of us always says wait a min. we will never get this day back!!! and that is the end of the argument.
We also could have like so many others lived above our means. The banks were more than happy to sell us a house 5x more than the one we bought, We chose to spend our money on fun and great vacations!!! Oh and I do have one downfall I love Platinum and diamonds UGH!!!
So no matter what you happen to be going thru I promise there is a reason for it, and you will come out better for it! My prayers are with you and do not let the devil in he is very sneaky!!! stay away from all that voodo and horoscope junk!!
