Do a Travel Size Coupon Trip

The following Everyday Savings Tip comes from, Diana:

As coupons are about to expire (normally towards the end of each month) I sort them out before doing my weekly shopping trip. I then walk through the trial/travel size section of my store to see if I can get any items for free as most trial/travel size items are around $1.

This is a great way to try products that I haven't used previously. I also save many of the products for when my family travels. It saves on airline costs as we do not need to check bags if we carry the small travel sized items. All in all, the trial/travel sized items are great to have as extras in the house.

  1. You can also donate them to a nonprofit to help the elderly and my favorite is to share them with a friend that makes christmas stockings for nursing home residents. I give her my sample products that I get in the mail too! The sample over the counter medicines that I get I give to her and she takes them to the center she goes to and gives them out to people that can use them.
