Most Goodwills have discount days. Check in your area for senior discount day and other discount days. Here in Indianapolis, the Goodwill has 50% day the first Saturday of each month.
I have found some great home goods items at our local Thrift Store. Bridgett shared a few great Thrift Store shopping tips as well. I shop at both Salvation Army and Goodwill stores as well as the local thrift shops.. At the Salvation Army store in my area, Monday is Senior Citizen Day and Wednesday is Customer Appreciation Day – 50% off of all clothing and bric-a-brac.
