Soul Snack: Then Sings My Soul Saturday

Click here to read more on this Snack…This song is so powerful! With the way the world is, it is hard at times to see the light and “hear” the news of God. The world wants to occupy us with other things so we don't “get” what His son did for us on the cross – what Jesus Christ meant to the world with His birth so many years ago. But, there is hope in Him, knowing that “God is is not dead nor does he sleep.”

Do you ever wonder how beautiful the songs are that the angels sing? They proclaimed “Peace on Earth Good Will to Men” the day that Christ was born. Maybe they sing it everyday – in hopes that we will feel the peace on earth with the wind blowing in our face to remind us of the God who made it all possible.

As Christmas day rolls around next week – please remember to listen and really hear the bells that jingle with the gifts and the instrumentation in the songs. It's such a delicate presentation that can be heard if you closely listen – kind of like God's voice. I will be remembering this.

Remember, the Savior that came to this world with the intention to share the news of His Father and die as the ultimate sacrifice. I will be discussing this with my kids.

Remember to thank God for being the Mighty Everlasting I Am who cared enough to offer His Son, born in a manager of all places. Our God did this for US so that we can have all that is to come one day in Heaven! I will be praising His Name!

Luke 2:14: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”
