Current Sales + Promotion
The ad date varies per region. In Atlanta the weekly sales begin on Thursday and last through the following Wednesday, most other areas/states begin on Wednesday and run through Tuesday. You can find the current ad information on Publix.com.
Publix doubles manufacturer coupons up to $.50, making $1 the most you will receive off an item. Coupons over $1 or more will be redeemed at face value of coupon. The exception to this is the regions of Coastal GA and the stores in Florida. These regions/state do not double coupons at all.
Publix DOES accept competitor coupons. Each Publix store determines which stores they will accept as competitors. Some stores only accept grocery stores as competitors, while others will accept (Target, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid,etc.). Simply ask the Customer Service at your local store to find out which ones they will accept.
B1G1 Free Sale
It is not necessary to purchase 2 items to receive the B1G1 Free price. You can consider the item as half off. This does not apply to Coastal GA regions or stores in Florida. In these regions/state you must by both items.
You are allowed to use 2 coupons on a B1G1 Free deal, one coupon per item.
Publix Store Coupons
There are a few different ways to get Publix store coupons.
Publix will allow you to stack (1) Manufacturer Coupon and (1) Publix coupon per item.
Publix Penny Coupon
Publix offers a Penny Item each week on Wednesday or Thursday, depending on your ad. The Penny Item will be found in your weekly newspaper. This offer is available when you spend $10 or more AFTER coupons. The select penny item for the week will only cost you $.01.
Some stores require the coupon and others do not, just check with you Customer Service. The areas of Coastal GA and stores in Florida do not participate in the Penny Item.
