Easter Egg Tree

Let me show you how to make one of those high priced Easter Egg Trees that you see in the craft and hobby stores for just pennies.

Easter Egg Tree Materials

  • Planter (I got this one at the Dollar store)
  • Styrofoam
  • Can of White Spray Paint
  • Raffia
  • Some Foam Easter Eggs (also got at the Dollar store)
  • Small Branch off of a tree.

Directions for Assembly

{Step 1} Spray the branch with the white spray paint.  Make sure you do this outside or a very well vented area.

{Step 2} Fit the styrofoam down into the planter.  Cut to desires shape, just making sure that it fits snug.

{Step 3} Place your dried branch down in the center of the foam.

{Step 4} Place the raffia over the top of the foam so you cannot see it.

{Step 5} Add your eggs and sit it on a table or desk.

Most of the materials needed to make this are probably around your house. You can make a smaller one by using a smaller branches too.

Similar trees cost around $16 at the craft stores. You have just made yours for pennies!

Really cute, the results look more time consuming than the effort.
