Diet & Fitness Snack: Fat Burnin’ Friday

So, I thought I would start a new snack each week so I could share with my readers all my fat burnin' struggles! So, here's my first Fat Burnin' Friday snack for ya!

Remember my sad testimony in A Mom's Thoughts… yesterday. I did manage to lose 2 pounds this past week, but I seriously don't know how I did it! I was having some major chocolate cravings and it all hit me while I was shopping at Meijer. I mean those ding dongs were on sale, but I had no coupon for them so it was complete weakness since I never buy anything without a coupon (generally). I did fall victim to the ding dongs (as I shared) but that experience leads me to share this.

It's OK to cave to your body's cravings occassionally!

I say occassionally because in all the books, magazines, blogs, etc I've read it says you need to have everything in moderation – right…easier said than done (you skinny Shape model editor)! But, I think (for me personally) when I do allow myself that one day a week to have whatever I want (which is typically on a weekend day), it's like a mini-goal for me at the end of the week to reward myself for bustin' my butt (which is less jiggly nowadays by the way). And, I know that during the week I can say “NO” to those cravings knowing I'll eventually get to cave…just not to all those ding dongs…that makes you sick the next day…trust me!

    hey girlie!! i’m so proud of you for sticking with it! you look great! i’m starting to go to TOPS on tuesday at 7pm at countryside church. jy is the leader. hopefully, that will get me on the right track. keep it up.

    And, you’re one of my “new” skinny friends too girlie!! We need to start our own version of biggest loser!…winner gets a night without kids!!
