Diet & Fitness Snack: Fat Burnin’ Friday

Well, in *honor* of the Thanksgiving holiday, I am taking this Fat Burnin' Friday off – no scale, no weighing myself, and LOTS of eating! Well, actually I have been just drinking water in hopes that that will offset the eating…we'll see!

And, I had EVERY intention in the world to run a Turkey Trot yesterday but that never happened either! Hubs and my brother-in-law did though. I hadn't run in about 2 weeks and the thought of getting out in the cold and trying to pull that out wasn't in me! I am motivated to start back running again next week (on the treadmill inside) so here's to hoping I actually follow through!

I hope you had a GREAT Thanksgiving and got some shopping done! Blessings to you and yours during this holiday weekend!

I love reading your “Fat Burnin’ Friday” posts! I just started a “lifestyle change” about two weeks ago — I have modififed my eating habits but haven’t started exercising yet. When do you find time to work out? Thanks for all the hard work you put into this blog!! And yes, I did vote for you :-)

I took the week off from the scale as well! Not looking forward to next week! Hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I got lots of shopping done and even scored some great deals. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hey Amanda, I had been working out in the evenings when my husband got home. But, I think I am going to be modifying my routine so I’m exercising during the afternoons. I’m testing this new routine out this week :-)

I took the week off from the scale too…not really on purpose but we headed out shopping REALLY early. Too early for me to remember to get on the scale.

I’m trying to talk my family runners into doing the Turkey Trot next year. We’ve been talking about it for a couple years now. Maybe next year…
