Diet & Fitness Snack: Fat Burnin’ Friday

I was so excited last week when we were vacationing because I purchased some much needed new shoes and new exercise clothes. I'm so motivated just because of these inexpensive purchases. In line with this, I was reading my new Fitness magazine (one of those FREE ones, of course :-) and I saw a great tip I thought I would share with you…

Hang Dry your Sports Bra

And maybe all those delicates for that matter :-) But, this was stating that you should hang dry your sports bra because the fibers break down easily in the heat of the dryer. And, you need lots of support during exercise – especially when your pounding hard and the top of you is moving too (blush :-)

On the weight loss…or, should I say weight GAIN! I did gain two pounds so I'll have that to try to take back off along with the rest of my weight before my goal. I'm not surprised at all – you heard me mention all the nasty (tasty) stuff I ate last week. But, I was on vacation and I don't regret it. It's not like I do that all the time. Honestly, it's not realistic at this point to try to lose 13 pounds in 4 weeks BUT I am still trying hard to make more progress so I can feel good about my efforts! I haven't slacked at all this week on eating or exercise so my efforts should be fruitful next week – here's to HOPING!!

Let me know how you've been doing too! I love your comments and hearin' all about your fat burnin'!!

No changes this week. I only exercised twice and I ate a lot of junk. I hope this accountability will give me motivation this week!

I’m also in the midst of trying to lose about 35 more pounds… already lost 10. I go slowly over a period of time, but it’s what works for me! Motivation comes and goes, but as long as I’m on the downward, I’m pretty happy.

3 Check it out, I blogged about you:)

And what kind of sports bra do you wear? (If I may be so bold as to ask that).

I have one that has normal straps (not racer back) and an underwire, which really help support/control the bounce. Only problem is that I have a bunch of cute racer back tanks I’d like to wear but need a good supportive racer back bra. Any suggestions?

Chase – I bet that exercise is what offset that junkfood – that’s how I rationalize it anyway :-)

Stephanie – I am right there with you! As long as those numbers are progressively going down, I’m happy. But, I’ve been challenging myself to meet goal soon because I’m starting to feel “comfortable” at this weight and that’s not a good sign when I have more to lose.

BargainHunting – Not bold at all (I’m an open book :-) I have a Champion Racer Back and it provides nice support for me. But, I have not only lost weight on my butt, but also my chest…argghh! So, there’s not really much up there that needs support :-)

I know Champion makes a great bra for a larger top – my friend has one and she saw it on the Tyra Banks show. She loves hers and now wears it exclusively when we run together. So, it does provide her support but I think it might have regular straps. Honestly, when I’m working out, I’m not too concerned about bra straps showing (or even showing through my shirts) since you need that support and really need to find what works best.

If I see anything that is racer back with full support that has good reviews, I’ll email ya!

Well, with a bad case of the flu last weekend I certainly did not work out at all, but, I did loose 1.3 lbs!. Yippee! And I know its mainly because I didnt eat and threw up a ton, but hey, weight loss is weight loss. (a little demented I know) Now if I can only keep it off.

And, 2 pounds gained on vacation? Thats nothing, great job! I know you can loose it!
