Diet & Fitness Snack: Fat Burnin’ Friday

Well, since it's July 4th, this snack will be brief :-)

I just want to share my progress which was kind of discouraging, especially going into a holiday weekend…read LOTS and LOTS of good, unhealthy food!!

You know those two pounds I reported losing last week, well they wanted to come back and visit on my buttocks and guttocks (belly) for a little while this week. I ran the badunkadunk off something fierce this week, so I doubt they will stick (if the food doesn't get the best of me this weekend). So, the moral of the story is don't eat like you're going to hibernate – the food has to store somewhere :-)

How did you do? I hope you don't let those flag cakes and hamburgers get the best of you this weekend – I think I said cave to your cravings occasionally, but please don't eat the symbol for American freedom :-) BTW…can someone please call me and remind me of this when I'm diving in face first to battle with the cake :-)

    Today will not be a diet day for me. Gotta have me a hot dog on the 4th.

    Since the fast I’ve finished this week, I’ve kinda pigged out. Hoping to get back on track soon.

    I ate way to many smores but I did set a Person Record (PR) in my 5k race this weekend! My time was 25:51!

    I was okay this weekend, had a little junk but will be 100% good all week to see if I can get a good number on the scale this friday… Vacation in 2 weeks, yikes, Im not ready!

    Mama – I was with ya, only I had fish and steak, and like 5 million helpings of desserts…I couldn’t imagine doing a fast. I really commend ya for it!!

    Mrs. Bargain – YOU Toootttally ROCK!!! I think you just inspired me to sign up for a 5K. That’s an awesome time too! You go girl!!

    Erin – I’m right there with ya. I’m back on the “saddle” again this week so I can try to get those two pesky pounds back off. We will see!
