Come out to see this annual family friendly event celebrating our military and those that serve our country. Gates will open at 4pm and the Fireworks are scheduled at 10pm.  Some of the highlights for this year are:

  • View the National 9/11 Flag
  • Live Entertainment from Lonestar + More
  • Fireworks

Learning Express | RC Car Day, June 26 @12pm-2pm

Come out to Learning Express located in Cross Pointe Center from 12pm to 2pm to race R/C Cars all around the store.  They will have a track set up for you to race some of their cars or you can bring your own.  I know my boys would love this!

Lowe’s Build and Grow: Waving Flag, June 25 @10am

Come out and make a waving flag for the upcoming Fourth of July weekend.  Every participant will receive the kit, goggles, apron, project themed patch and a certificate of merit once they complete the project.

You will want to register prior to the event to make sure the class is not full.

Beavercreek Parks & Recreation | Kids Fishing Derby, June 25 @10am

All Kids ages 19 and under are all welcome to come  out to Lofino Park  located at 640 Grange Hall Road for a Kids Fishing Derby.  They will be prizes for the largest, smallest and for the person who catches the most catfish. Also, Dr. Insecta will be entaining the kids at 1pm.

All Kids must be accompanied by an adult.  For more information, contact the Beavercreek Parks & Recreation at 937/427-5514.

Kettering Recreation Center | Grand Re-Opening, June 25 @12pm-4pm

There will be a fun filled day planned for the whole family at the Kettering Recreation in honor of their Grand Re-Opening.  There will be so much to see and do beginning with the ribbon cutting at 12:30pm.  Some of the highlights for the jammed pack  day include:

  • Inflatable Slide &Kids Activities
  • Live Music from the Grateful Parrot Band
  • Family Bingo
  • Pre-school Activities
  • Try Fitness Classes like Zumba, Trx, & More
  • Obstacle Course
  • Dodgeball & Kickball

You may want to visit Adventure Reef as well, but you will have to pay admission.  They have some special fun activities planned as well such as  Cannonball Contest, Limbo, Water Balloon Toss, Hula Hoop, Dance Contest and More.  It should be a fun day!
