Dayton Halloween Family Events

With Halloween falling on a weekend this year, there seems to be a lot of events around town for the kiddos.  Here is a quick round up of these local events.  So grab the family and have some fun!

October 29th

Fairfield Commons Mall Momtopia ~ 10:30 am – 12 pm
Have the kids dress in their favorite costumes and have some Halloween fun.  Activities include

  • Decorate a cookie from the Great American Cookie
  • Face Painting
  • Balloon twisters
  • SHE fashion activities

The first 200 kids will receive a goodie bag, free picture and magnetic frame.  Moms can enter a raffle for gift cards or 3-piece set of ProActiv.

October 30th

Dorothy Lane Market: Kids Club Trick or Treat

  • Oakwood ~ 11 am
  • Washington Square ~ 1 pm
  • Springboro ~ 3 pm

Have the kids dress up in their Halloween Costumes and head to DLM.  They will be able to go through each department for their treats.  For instance, the may get a banana from the produce dept.  My kids have enjoyed this event in the past and they get some healthy treats too!

While you are there, you can do caramel apple dipping.  They are delicious and just $2.99 each.

Michael’s Halloween Knack Event ~ 10:30 am – 2 pm

Dress up the kids in their costumes and head out to your local store for these events:

Dayton Mall Halloween Adventure ~ 11 am – 2 pm

Have the kids dress up and take a trip to the mall.  This is one time that will not complain to go shopping.  You will want to enter the mall from Elder Beerman’s and pick up your guide map, goodie bag and coupons.

  • Spooky games
  • Creepy craft
  • Halloween Costume Parade

There was no trick or treat at Dayton Mall today. I just brought my, all dressed up and terribly sad 3 year old, home from MEGA disappointment. Not only was it not going on, but no one knew anything of it, not the stores, not the office, no one.

Donna, I apologize for disappointing your 3 year old. This event was from a round up post from a few years ago.
